OUR PASTOR
Reverend Trevor D. Allen, Sr. is a seasoned pastor, teacher, and community leader with more than 29 years of faithful ministry experience. He currently serves as Senior Pastor of Baptist Temple Church in Shreveport, Louisiana, where, under the guidance of the Holy Spirit, he has led the congregation into measurable spiritual and numerical growth.
His ministry has been marked by impactful preaching and teaching, dynamic outreach initiatives, structured financial stewardship, and the development of ministries that strengthen both the church and the surrounding community. A native of Louisiana, Rev. Allen has dedicated his life to building the church of Jesus Christ through preaching, pastoral care, and ministry programs. At Mt. Bethel #2 Baptist Church, it was by God’s grace and the faithful labor of a committed ministry team that the church experienced expansion—including the construction of a multi-purpose facility, the establishment of children and youth camps, tutorial programs, expanded missions, and significant financial growth. Rev. Allen has also been privileged to serve alongside dedicated leaders in associate ministerial and pastoral roles at Galilee Missionary Baptist Church, Peaceful Rest Missionary Baptist Church, Nineveh Baptist Church, and Unity Baptist Church.
Rev. Allen’s academic training includes a Bachelor of Applied Science in Christian Ministry from East Texas Baptist University, a Certificate in Theology from the Inter-Denominational Theological Center (Morehouse School of Religion), and ongoing graduate studies toward a Master’s in Theology and Ministry at TCU’s Brite Divinity School.
He was also conferred an Honorary Doctor of Divinity Degree from Inter-Baptist Theological Seminary.
A devoted husband, father, grandfather and spiritual leader, Rev. Trevor D. Allen, Sr. continues to live out his calling with passion, humility, and a relentless commitment to advancing God’s Kingdom.
His ministry stands as a testament to the transformative power of faith, vision, teamwork, and perseverance in service to Christ and His church.
